Who is Mentra for?
Mentra is designed for learners from primary school through university. Onboarding captures your country, education level, class and subjects so the experience starts at the right level.
What files can I study with?
Mentra supports PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint files, images and notes. Video study files are not currently supported.
Does Mentra only answer from uploaded files?
No. You can ask general academic questions at any time. When a document is selected, Mentra grounds its answer in that material and can show where the supporting information came from.
What powers Mentra AI?
Mentra AI is powered by Groq, which helps it generate fast explanations, summaries, flashcards, quizzes and document-aware answers. Mentra adds the learning experience around it, including your level, subjects and selected study materials.
Can I read my PDF inside the app?
Yes. The built-in reader lets you open your original PDF, move between pages and continue from your reading progress.
Is the app free?
Mentra is available for testing while the product is being developed. A free plan and optional paid plans are planned for the future, with clear pricing before any charges are introduced.
Where can I get Mentra?
Download the Android testing build directly from this website. You do not need a GitHub account or access to Mentra's private source code. App Store and Play Store releases are planned after testing and product validation.
